European Lifestyles in Cologne: Ideas for Interiors & Furnishings

A football table as an interior showpiece, a mobile kitchen, furniture hanging from the ceiling and snazzy furnishing items made from waste products - at the coming imm cologne, visitors can see all this and more at a joint booth for young, innovative companies from Germany. The creative show will be presented in Hall 1, where the "European Lifestyles" segment will be showing off its totally new concept for the first time. "European Lifestyles" brings together an exciting mix: quality, highly marketable products on the one hand (such as those that will be on show e.g. in impressive national pavilions from Rumania, Estonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia) and unusual design pieces on the other, each of which, in its own way, can serve as an ideal sales booster, at least in niche markets. And all of it made in Europe!

Interzum Showcases Tomorrow's Furniture Design

Cologne's world-leading trade fair, interzum 2013, is enjoying a massive increase in both spaces booked and number of exhibitors. Once again, in May next year the innovation of interior piazza in Hall 4.2 will definitely be a crowd-pleaser – one that is aimed at architects and designers. In 2013 the emphasis will be on intelligent materials and components that will adorn the hub of the “Smart Materials” special exhibition.

Interzum says 53,000 visited, up 13%

COLOGNE, GERMANY - Interzum, the wood interiors and furnishing materials show that, saw a total of 52,400 trade visitors (46,345 visitors in 2009) during its May 25-28 run in Cologne. Some 17,900 visitors were from Germany, 34,500 came from 147 countries around the globe (approximately 66 percent).
