The Selekta 253 speeds up the assembly process over inserting dowels by hand. Owing to its highly efficient glue nozzle design, Gannomat's Selekta 253 can glue and insert at a rapid pace: 40 dowels per minute.
Selekta features a dual-canister, closed glue system that prevents glue buildup in the canister and avoids contaminates. The machine also offers overlength dowel ejection, safely removing imperfect dowels.

The New Selekta 253 has had many upgrades over the 252 model which make it more user-friendly, maneuverable and light.
Other upgrades include:
- Smaller footprint
- New cleaning system with collection container
- Lighter gun and the hose connecting the pistol and machine is more flexible making the pistol easy to maneuver
