Components manufacturer Hiland Wood Products has invested in technology to help grow its productivity and profitability. At the 130,000-square-foot facility, capabilities include rough mill, panel layup, moulding, door and drawer production and finishing.

The company recently invested in a Schneeberger 5-axis CNC grinder to produce tooling for its hundreds of profiled knife sets.

Hiland Wood Products was one of eight woodworking facilities recently toured as part of the 2013 Wood Component Manufacturers Association's annual Conference and Plant Tour Event in September.
