Knoll COO Sees Changing Role for Furniture Firms, and BIFMA

Lynn Utter, President and COO of Knoll, Inc., on LEED pilot credits, a new partnership with MMI on NeoCon, and outreach to members and suppliers. Utter, incoming president of the Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturer's Association, spoke at NeoCon 2013. In her role as president of Knoll, Utter says the "open workplace" puts manufacturers and designers of furnishings in a leading role as workplaces transition to accommodate changing demographics and collaborative workforces.
