Cleaning a Record with Titebond II Wood Glue
Titebond.JPG

Wood glue is great at finding its way into tiny grooves and taking hold when it dries. Which is why one Youtube user decided it might be the perfect medium for cleaning vinyl records.

In the video below, the user plays a copy of Miles Ahead by Miles Davis - before and after the wood glue treatment. The music is noticeably clearer without the cracks and pops we normally associate with vintage records.

It seems to work, but I don't think this is what Titebond means when it says the glue is "ideal for radio frequency (R-F) gluing systems."
