Blu Homes, which manufactures housing in a factory, announced at the Consumer Electronics Show it is building the first home ordered through its online system. Last fall Blu Homes said it would open a 250,000 square foot factory on Mare Island, Vallejo, California.

Blu Homes Configurator system allows clients to design home exteriors and interiors, including cabinetry, millwork and flooring, online. Orders are then fed into production.
