Sustainable Wood Products Manufacturing on Tour

More than 140 wood industry representatives were on hand for the Wood Component Manufacturers Assn.’s Fall Conference and Plant Tour Event, held Sept. 15-17 in Canton, OH.

The 2013 event included tours to seven wood products manufacturers and equipment supplier Eagle Machinery & Supply Inc., providing attendees an opportunity to view innovative technology and manufacturing methods. The component and dimension stock manufacturers toured included: Gerber Wood Products, Walnut Creek Planing, Keim Lumber Co., Yoder Lumber Co., Hochstetler Wood Ltd., Hiland Wood Products/Schrock’s of Walnut Creek and Miller Wood Designs. Evening receptions included tabletop exhibits from a number of industry suppliers.
