GEORGETOWN, ON – Olon Industries says its commitment to improving its capababilities helped spur the North American wood component manufacturer to 12.5% growth in 2011. In addition to its facility in Ontario, the company has three manufacturing locations in the United States for the production of five-piece cabinet doors, drawer components, custom profiles and wrapped mouldings.

According to Jenna Rapagna, sales coordinator, Olon's move in 2011 to a larger 107,000-square-foot plant in Jeffersonville, IN, resulted in a number of productivity improvements. Along with the move, the company also invested in additional  panel processing and edgebanding equipment, a wrap line slot coater and high-speed throughfeed drilling machines, with plans calling for additional upgrades this year.
