Grand Rapids, Mich. – Knape & Vogt today announced that it has acquired the Furniture Components Operations of CompX International Inc. (NYSE MKT:CIX) which consist of its Waterloo Furniture Components and Dynaslide divisions. Waterloo Furniture Components is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Dynaslide is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Both divisions are leading manufacturers of precision ball bearing slide products serving original equipment manufacturers and distributors with a wide range of products used in office furniture, appliances, commercial tool chests, computer servers, and other commercial equipment applications. In addition, the Waterloo division is a market leader in ergonomic office and healthcare workstation products providing adjustable keyboard platforms, computer monitor supports, wall mounted workstations, and other accessory products to original equipment manufacturers, value added resellers, and computer catalog retailers.
