The Virutex PEB 250 Glue Pot Edge Bander is designed to work with tape thicknesses of 1-, 2-, and 3mm tapes and plastic laminate strips. It heats up in less than five minutes and is ideal for banding curved panels, custom work and large tops, says Virutex. It features an auto-powered double blade back cut and offers easy access to temperature control, speed control and glue and spread control. Users can remove the edge banding core and turn it into a hand held unit, says the company. It has electronic temperature control, speed control and adjustable quantity of glue spread. It auto trims the top and bottom of tapes of up to 1mm thick. Cost is $4,400.
