Bosch's new carbide for all-purpose and carbide for high-pressure laminates (HPL) jig saw blades rely on Progressor technology, a combination of small teeth that work together with larger teeth to increase speed and life. With the HPL blades, two rows of counter-directed teeth arranged at different angles provide clean cuts in difficult-to-cut, brittle materials on both sides of the cutting surface. With Bosch-exclusive carbide brazing technology, Bosch says they are tough enough to withstand a nail hit and keep going without having to change the blade. Available in single and three packs, the blade’s exaggerated tip ensures plunge cuts and a thin blade kerf reduces material extraction and reduces heat.
