WDMA Seeks Presentations for Technical ConferenceWASHINGTON, DC – On June 17 – 19, 2014, the Window & Door Manufacturers Association will hold its technical conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel.

The program will include informative technical sessions on current industry research, trends in manufacturing processes and procedures, and emerging product technologies. Breakout sessions will also focus on topics relevant to the window, exterior door, architectural door, and skylight segments of the industry.

Outside the session halls, exclusive networking events will introduce innovative products and services for business and product design. Returning this year will be an off-site tour of a WDMA member manufacturing facility.

WDMA is currently seeking presentations and technical papers for the Technical Conference. Each presentation will be allotted one hour and will include a brief Q&A session.

Potential subject areas include technology transfer, quality assurance and reliability, productivity improvement, automation, strategic outsourcing, sustainability, and codes and standards.
