Haworth Wins Best Large Showroom at NeoconCHICAGO – Designed by Perkins+Will, Haworth’s NeoCon 2012 showroom was named Large Showroom winner in the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) Booth and Showroom Competition. The Chicago space has won the award in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2012 on a platform that is adapted each year to showcase new products and workspace concepts.

The 2012 Haworth showroom demonstrates Haworth’s knowledge leadership in provoking active engagement for client’s and their employees. The showroom features applications, tools, technology and products that promote think, see, do, and connect behaviors and organizational cultural models.

The showroom features the use of Haworth Integrated Palette products through the front of the showroom and the following new Haworth products:

Workware – products for enabling technology in collaborative spaces

Workware won GOLD in Contract Magazine’s 2012 Best of NeoCon awards (Technology support).

Shetland – Haworth Collection informal seating

Lively – Haworth task seating

Lively won GOLD in Contract Magazine’s 2012 Best of NeoCon awards (Seating: ergonomic desk/task).

Tilt – Haworth stool

Planes training table

Planes Training Table won GOLD in Contract Magazine’s 2012 Best of NeoCon awards (Tables: training and work).

Belong work tools

Belong won SILVER in Contract Magazine’s 2012 Best of NeoCon awards (category: technology support).

Vignettes in the Haworth showroom include retreat and refresh lounges, reception, seating pavilion, design resource center, conference rooms, executive suites, training rooms, presentation rooms, project teaming areas, working libraries and a loft to feature Haworth Collection products.

Haworth’s showroom features the color red from the company’s primary color palette and organic tangram graphics. This is a configuration of shapes that can be transformed many different ways and is an example of how Haworth products can be reconfigured, changed and adapted as needed.
