LUCK, Wis. -- St. Croix Valley Hardwoods reports that its kitchen and cabinet business is on a solid growth curve for this year, and the company is planning further expansions.

The company’s most recent purchase, the Dubois UV roll coat line, allows it to finish drawer parts and flat mouldings more efficiently. They have since added a two-head finish sander in front of this line for efficiency.

Plans are also being made to purchase a drawer box assembly clamping system for finished drawer boxes, and to add a CNC machine for notching and drilling of drawer parts. The company is also now offering complete builds of a finished drawer box.

Customers are reported to be always looking for new and different ideas, and the busier they are the more they look to outsource some of their business. Right now, customers are looking for white hard maple, and the company has seen an increase in demand in cherry and alders, especially the rustic side of alder.

St. Croix Valley Hardwoods is a producer of edge glued panels, mouldings, drawer fronts and sides in lineal or cut to length, (including dovetailing and finishing), gang rip services, and sanding services. See http://www.scvh-luck.com.
