BESEMMER CITY, N.C. - Precisions Drive Systems (PDS) has announced Bob Barone as the new vice president of the company.

 

Barone owns and operates an architectural millwork company and holds product management and sales positions with Michael Weinig, Biesse America, and Benz.  

 

His experience in wood, plastic, and engineered composite manufacturing applications will be viable in assisting PDS customers as he focuses on opening new markets for the line of PDS products.

 

PDS manufactures automatic and manual tool-change spindles and five-axis heads under its own brand and offers spindles from leading manufacturers, Giordano Colombo, Hiteco, and Spintec. It has six affiliate offices located throughout the world with its corporate office in Bessemer City, North Carolina.
