Harry Guensche, Leitz Director of Technical Sales, passed away July 5, 2015. A memorial fund has been established for his children.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Leitz Tooling announced that Harry Guensche, its Director of Technical Sales, passed away over the 4th of July weekend.

“Harry's technical wisdom, sense of humor, energy, enthusiasm and unwavering positivity were among his many gifts, and he will be profoundly missed as a pillar of the Leitz team,” said Mike Lind, CEO.

Harry was a creative and well-respected engineer with a keen mind for elegant and innovative solutions.  He held in a broad range of technical positions for Leitz during more than 25 years with the company.  His tenure included stints in Germany, Canada and the U.S.

Harry received his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the world-renown Rosenheim Institute and started his career with Leitz in 1989.
Harry is survived by wife, Gabi, and their children, Nora (17), Kilian (14) and Bennett (13).

In lieu of flowers or other memorials, an educational fund has been established for Harry’s children at Huntington Bank.  If you wish to remember Harry, send requests to [email protected] for more information.
