Laser Products intends to increase outreach with new marketing position

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Laser Products has announced a newly created position intended to increase its outreach to U.S. and foreign customers, the media, and its partners. The company has hired Kevin Yeh to fill the new position as director of marketing.
 
Responsible for developing and leading the company’s strategic marketing initiatives and new product commercialization, Yeh will direct and optimize the company’s advertising, public relations, and digital assets. Positioned at the company’s headquarters in Romeoville, Illinois, he is intended to be the primary corporate liaison with the media and trade associations in the stone and woodworking industries.
           
“Laser Products is in the midst of a very exciting period of growth," said Rich Katzmann, president. "Kevin has an exceptional background in strategically building brands through diverse channels. He is a strong leader with a keen understanding of driving innovation through customer insight. Under his direction, I am confident that we will drive new revenue opportunities for both our company and our [customers].”
 
Previously, Yeh was with James Hardie Building Products where he led the marketing team and has also served as the global strategic business unit leader for the Liftmaster and Chamberlain brands of garage door openers at the Chamberlain Group. He is bilingual - Mandarin Chinese and English - and has a Bachelor of Science in business management and international studies from Indiana University.
 
Founded in 1994, Laser Products manufactures laser measuring equipment for the countertop, cabinet, and construction industries. It has sold over 5,000 lasers in 35 countries to more than 2,600 companies.
