“Scott will lead our sales growth, expansion into new markets, and new product development. We are excited to have him join our team after a long and successful career selling our products as head of an independent sales agency,” said Dave Gordon, president.

Before becoming vice president, Johnston managed a team of independent sales representatives serving Kabinart for 21 years, from the Carolinas north to Maine. Johnston also contributed to key decisions affecting Kabinart’s direction in the marketplace, and led regional sales training seminars. Johnston and his family will move to Nashville from High Point, North Carolina.

Johnston succeeds Hall Crowder, who held the position for 22 years. Kabinart noted that during Crowder's tenure, "he delivered significant sales growth and led the development of our broad and innovative product offering."

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Kabinart manufactures semi-custom residential kitchen and bath wood cabinetry for sale throughout the Eastern United States. Founded in 1963, the family-owned and operated company has more than 200 employees.
