NEW YORK CITY – High-end residential furniture, lighting, and accessories manufacturer Theodore Alexander has opened a renovated and expanded showroom in the New York Design Center.

Located in the Design Center since 2015, the showroom has been expanded from 4,000-square-feet to 6,000. Company officials say the updated space, which was designed by Robin Baron, ASID, “created a brand showcase which reflects our commitment to the needs of the interior designer.”

The space features curated vignettes of the company’s signature collections, including Michael Berman and Jamie Drake. The space also displays an array of customizable upholstery options from Theodore Alexander’s High Point, North Carolina manufacturing facility, with more than 1,000 fabrics from Duralee, Scot Meacham Wood and Theodore Alexander.

“Our New York Design Center showroom has been redesigned as a Destination for the TA brand which showcases our growing product capability and flexibility and we are grateful to Robin Baron for leading the project,” said Theodore Alexander President Jamie Hoff. ”It’s an incredible transformation by one of our favorite designers. This new showroom is intended to delight TA’s most favored clients; the interior designers and architects who recognize our designs for their style and value.”

Baron said she believes the new space will help create inspiration.

“I always say ‘Confidence Begins at Home, when you feel good about your home you feel good about your life. I am thrilled to be working with Theodore Alexander. They truly understand the importance of creating a home and their people and products reflect this at every level,” Baron said.
