H3D Tools’ Tim Weaver passes

HICKORY, N.C. – Timothy Ray Weaver, 53, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 30.

Weaver was born Dec. 24, 1963 in Catawba County to Ray Quinten Weaver and Carolyn Jennette Brown Weaver. He was a salesman with H3D Tool Corp. (previously Carolina Specialties), co-owner and master distiller of Foothills Distillery, and co-owner of Appalachian Stone Masonry.

He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Claremont. Survivors include his wife, Tecia Barker Weaver of the home; children, Lacey Weaver Patterson and husband, John of Hickory, Johathan Cody Weaver and fiance, Dana Muzzone of Hickory, Madison Chelsey Weaver; one grandchild, Maya Cecilia Weaver; soon to be grandchild, Wryan Elise Patterson; mother and father, Ray and Carolyn Weaver; father-in-law, William Avery Barker and wife, Xiuzhen Barker; sister, Jennifer Nichole Weaver; niece Genesis Weaver; brother-in-law, Robert Barger; brother, Michael Eric Weaver; sister-in-law, Sarah Sitzman Weaver; and nieces, Victoria Weaver, Taylor Weaver and Katelyn Weaver.

A celebration of life service was held Feb. 2 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Father Tom Sanford officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Catawba County Humane Society, 3224 20th Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602; or Burke County Friends for Animals, 417 Kirksey Dr., Morganton, NC 28655.
