HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – High end furniture manufacturer Rochdale Spears has completed its manufacturing facility in Vietnam.

The 800,000-square-foot plant, one of the largest facilities of its kind in Vietnam, will employ nearly 1,000 workers and produce high-end handcrafted furniture.

The plant features advanced machinery and equipment, including CNC machinery, humidity control divisions, and advanced spray technology.

“This is an outstanding addition to the Rochdale Spears manufacturing base,” said Michael Dudley DeHart, vice president of manufacturing. “The new plant layout, with all processes under one roof, will allow for more seamless operations, increasing our efficiency and output exponentially and allowing us to meet the demands of the high-end furniture market.”

In addition to building product for its branded products marketed under the Resource Decor and Sonder Living lines, it produces products for the company’s private label customers including West Elm and Restoration Hardware.

“Rochdale Spears Company is known for its innovative business practices concentrated on exceptional materials, finishes, design and sustainability,” said Geoff Hawkes, company chairman and CEO. “These new facilities strengthen its status as a preeminent player in the manufacturing industry.”
