The Chromcraft furniture line will be upholstered and assembled at the new Sardis location, which will also house a warehouse.

SARDIS, Miss. - Chromcraft Revington Douglas Ind. Ltd (CRD) has completed the purchase of a 375,000-square-foot manufacturing and central distribution center in Sardis, Mississippi. Production at the new location is expected to be up and running within 30 to 45 days.

“We will use the Sardis location to upholster and assemble our Chromcraft product line as well as warehouse and distribute the Cochrane, Douglas and Peters-Revington brands across the country” said Dana Steele; president of CRD.  “This purchase, enables us to secure our current brands while giving us the ability to expand into other product categories down the road.”

Chromcraft and Douglas provide casual caster dining furniture and Peters-Revington specializes in occasional tables. CRD reintroduced the Cochrane brand of dining and bedroom furniture to the company's lineup last year.

The Sardis facility is 14 miles south of Senatobia, the location of the former Chromcraft manufacturing and warehouse facility. CRD also warehouses the Cochrane and Douglas brands in Ontario, California, to service West Coast dealers.

CRD is owned by Arts & Crafts, the U.S. entity of Amtech Management Ltd. Arts & Crafts, whose divisions include the Mastercraft furniture line, is based in Ontario, California. Arts & Crafts purchased certain assets of Chromcraft Revington in 2015, from Sport-Haley.
