Cabinet shop suffers $450,000 in damage after fire

REXBURG, Idaho - A blaze swept through Canyon Creek Cabinets' 4,000-square-foot shop on the morning of February 14 - completely burning it to the ground. No one was injured.
 
Canyon Creek Cabinets is a privately held company based in Rexburg, Idaho. It is not related to Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. which is based in Washington.
 
Local news sources reported that the local fire department, alerted by a neighbor, sent four engines, three water tenders, an ambulance, two command vehicles and 23 firefighters to fight the fire. Financial losses are estimated to be near $450,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
