Biesse reports record year of sales for 2016

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Woodworking machinery manufacturer Biesse has announced its quarterly results through September 30, 2016. In comparison with September 2015, Biesse says it has increased performance across the board, with some of the main highlights being an increase of 13.5 percent in order intake, a 16.5 percent increase in backlog, and a 19.5 percent increase in consolidated revenues.

Mr. Stefano Porcellini, Group General Manager stated that, "The results for the period and the trend for the current quarter indicate that 2016 will – once again – be a record year for Biesse Group revenues, which should grow by about 15 percent compared with the previous year,” said Stefano Porcellini, general manager.

Biesse said the North American market accounted for 17.2 percent of its consolidated revenues.

Biesse Group currently operates five North American showrooms in Charlotte, Anaheim, Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Its Charlotte facility comes in at nearly 67,000 sq. ft. with a 30,000 sq. ft. showroom and training center.
