Challengers Awards, IWF Atlanta Deal Top Wood Industry News
By Bill Esler | 05/10/2012 11:14:00 AM
Two of the most viewed wood industry reports this week centered on the 2012 International Woodworking Fair IWF Atlanta. First, there was a change in the ownership structure of IWF announced during the annual suppliers Wood Industry Conference last week.
Second came the news of the woodworking products nominated for Challengers Awards. A total of 80 products from 62 companies have been entered (we originally reported 79, then IWF 2012 found one more entry that was overlooked - Kings Mountain International, mykmi.)
Recipients of the Challengers Awards will be announced at the IWF Atlanta show, running Aug. 22-25. WoodworkingNetwork will publish the official digital publication preview of the entrants, on June 15.
Rising above all the other stories this week for "most viewed" was a forested fantasia under development in Milan.
