Wood Industry Conference To Skype Top Execs

Wood Industry Conference   DELRAY BEACH, FL  - Wood industry execs gather this week in Delray Beach, FL for WIC 2012, the annual Wood Industry Conference, for strategy and networking sessions key to charting a course for the wood products industries now and in future years.

A CEO Forum will include industry heavyweights Wyatt Bassett from Vaughan-Bassett, Henry Juszkiewicz with Gibson Guitar Corp. and Chris Watson from Conestoga Wood Specialties.

A Skype Forum on Thursday, May 3, moderated by yours truly, will include Stuart Elfland from Metropolitan Cabinet Distributors, Norwood, MA; Gat Caperton of Gat Creek Furniture, Berkeley Springs, WV; and Alex Ward of Northland Forest Products, Shakopee, MN. Each company will be speaking live through Skype from their own environment explaining their manufacturing process and answering questions.

WIC is open to executives and managers from within every area of the wood processing industry, including machinery builders, distributor networks and wood product processing organizations. Attendees are members and prospective members of the sponsoring and participating associations.

Sponsoring associations are the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS®), the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association® (WMIA®), and the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America® (WMMA®). The participating associations are the North American Building Material Distribution Association (NBMDA) and the Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA).
