Tailored Living Franchise Acquires SpaceMakers in Knoxville

Tailored Living KNOXVILLE, TN – The Tailored Living franchise in East Tennessee announced it is acquiring SpaceMakers, a custom cabinet company in West Knoxville, TN. Specializing in custom storage solutions for the home and garage, the Tailored Living franchise has been in business since 2007.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, according to KnoxNews.com, which published the news. The media outlet said Tailored Living will move its operations into SpaceMaker’s current facility.

Established in 1997, SpaceMakers “The Get Organized Store” specializes in custom cabinet design and closet and storage installations. According its website, SpaceMakers’ products have been featured on the DIY network, and the company is a member of the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals.

"Both companies have great reputations in the local closet and cabinetry industry and will bring together valuable experience, traditions and complementary high quality products," co-owner Travis Carbaugh said in a statement to KnoxNews.com.

Tailored Living in East Tennessee is an independently operated franchise. Tailored Living was formed in 2010 following a strategic alliance between Premier Garage and Home Franchise Concepts' Closet Tailors' brand.
