Sligh Furniture President Resigns

Rob Sligh, Sligh FurnitureSligh Furniture Sligh Furniture President Rob Sligh Jr. has resigned from his position with the company. The resignation, reported in Furniture Today, is effective July 8.

Sligh became president of the home office and home entertainment furniture company in 1990. Following the acquisition of Sligh Furniture by Lexington Home Brands in December 2011, Rob Sligh was named senior vice president of business development for Lexington, while retaining his position as president of the Sligh brand of products.

Sligh was the fourth-generation president of Sligh Furniture. His father, Robert Lewis Sligh, passed away in May.
