HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) released the Kitchen & Bath Market Report for the first quarter showing that showroom traffic rose 8% .

Although 13% down from a year ago, Q1 of 2012 numbers show the second-highest level of consumer visits to average kitchen and bath showrooms in over two years. The NKBA Market Index also indicates that kitchen and bath dealers foresee a market expansion over the next three months.

“We are encouraged to see the numbers supporting the optimism felt by dealers. With showroom traffic up, the industry is sure to see some stabilization in the next quarter, stated Alan W. Zielinski, CKD,” stated Alan Zielinski, CKD, 2012 NKBA President.
