Kewaunee Scientific Customer Needed Shipping Containers

STATESVILLE, NC - Lab casegoods and furnishings manufacturer Kewaunee Scientific Corporation (Nasdaq: KEQU)  declared a quarterly cash dividend of ten cents per share, payable on June 25, 2012 to stockholders of record on June 11, 2012.

Kewaunee's third quarter earnings report showed a 4 percent drop in sales to $21,57 million versus the year prior. Additional sales of $720,000 for products manufactured late in the quarter were not recorded because Kewaunee's customer failed to secure international shipping containers and take delivery of the products.

Kewaunee Scientific designs, manufactures, and installs laboratory, technical and laminate furniture products, in both steel and wood cabinetry, fume hoods, adaptable modular systems, moveable workstations, biological safety cabinets and epoxy resin counters and sinks.

Technical furniture products include column systems, slotted-post systems, pedestal systems and stand-alone benches. Laminate furniture includes laminate casework and systems.

Kewaunee Scientific operates U.S. plants and one plant in Bangalore, India for local and Asian markets.
