Before the fire DOYLES, CODROY, NL — Starboard Woodcraft Ltd.'s custom furniture and cabinet operation in Doyles, Codroy, Newfoundland, was leveled by fire on May 31. The official cause of the blaze has not been determined, though it is suspected that it started in an electrical panel.
None of the workers at the 4,000-square-foot facility were injured. According to a CBC report, the owners of the company said they hope to rebuild the company.
After the fire Founded in 1984 by Hubert Hall and Kelly Tompkins, Starboard Woodcraft manufactures custom cabinetry, residential furniture, home office furniture and millwork. The company also has two showrooms in the province.
