The poster is completely free and available for download on the EMSL website. It’s a great informational resource for industries with various combustible dust hazards.
Common sources of combustible dust, dust control measures, ignition control measures, prevention and protection measures are all highlighted on the poster.
OSHA has acknowledged that if any combustible material is suspended in the right concentration it can be explosive.
This is a very real concern as combustible dust explosions have injured and even taken lives of hundreds of workers over the past few decades.
