CAMBRIDGE, MA - Second round venture financing of $4 million has been raised by CustomMade.com Ventures Inc., the Cambridge, MA-based online marketing website for custom woodworkers and other custom craft professionals.
CustomMade.com fields $500,000 in requests for bids weekly, reports HighTechMass.com, which first reported the venture capital investment figure. Google Ventures and Schooner Capital were lead investors in the latest round of financing. An SEC filing shows the total equity investment in CustomMade as $4,000,015.
Google Ventures and First Round Capital were among lead investors in a September 2011 round of financing that delivered $2.1 million to CustomMade.com.
