MARTINSVILLE, VA - Hooker Furniture appointed veteran sales representative Cowan to vice president-special accounts.
In his new role, Cowan will work with Hooker Furniture's merchandising team to develop proprietary products for key national and regional dealers.
Cowan has been a sales representative for Hooker since 1990, covering northern Texas and Oklahoma. He joined the furniture in 1983, working first with Riverside Furniture, then Universal Furniture before joining Hooker.
Hooker is one of the nation's 10 largest publicly traded furniture sources based on 2010 shipments to U.S. retailers.
