The auction is being done through the Thomas Hirchak Company and is a total liquidation secured creditors’ auction. It includes four parcels of real estate, as well as the equipment used in the furniture making process, which the auction company lists as “a full production line of woodworking equipment: rough boards to finished furniture, including CNC machine, saws, clamps, wide belt sanders, planers, jointers, moulding tenoners, compressors, spray booths, offices, work in progress, finished products, parts, storage trailers and more.”

Brown Street Furniture co-owner Adam Tager previously stated that cash flow and lack of working capital were the reason the facility closed and that the company were attempting to secure investors to reopen the manufacturing facility. According to The Colebrook Chronicle, the Brown Street plant owed back taxes to the N.H. Dept. of Employment Security, as well as the IRS, for employee taxes and property taxes to the town of Whitefield.
