GRAND FORKS, ND – Acme Tools will open a store in Williston, ND, in late summer 2013, its tenth in the Upper Midwest. Williston is booming in housing construction, a product of the ongoing oil rush expected to make the U.S. the number one producer in the world.

The 20,000 square foot store "will feature tools and equipment to support the burgeoning building and construction industry in the Williston area," said Steve Kuhlman, Acme Tools VP operations.

Acme Tools' new store will specialize in power tools, concrete equipment, drywall tools, fasteners, generators, hand tools, scissor and boom lifts, and equipment from DeWalt, Milwaukee, and  Ridgid,  among other brands as well as products for oil exploration businesses. Acme is advertising to hire 15 people.
