MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Tool has introduced its cordless M18 fuel 7-1/4in. dual bevel sliding miter saw. At 28lbs with battery, the saw can be used by professionals who need easy transportation on, off, and around the jobsite.

All M18 fuel products feature three Milwaukee-exclusive innovations: the Powerstate brushless motor, Redlithium battery pack and Redlink Plus intelligence hardware and software. Milwaukee says M18 FUEL tools are the most powerful 18V cordless tools in their class.

The new dual bevel sliding miter saw has the capacity to complete a range of core finishing applications, including 3-1/2in. vertical capacity for cutting base up against the fence, two by eight horizontal capacity, and 3-5/8in. crown nested for cutting crown molding in position.

Milwaukee says it is the only 7-1/4in. solution in its class with the ability to bevel both left and right with a max bevel angle of 48 degrees. An adjustable stainless steel detent plate includes 11 detent stops and a detent override lets the user lock the saw in place when cutting at uncommon angles.

It can be used in conjunction with Milwaukee’s newest miter saw stand and features a shadow cut line indicator with an LED directing light onto both sides of the blade, casting a visible shadow.

The saw is designed to deliver 5,000 RPM and when equipped with Milwaukee’s M18 Redlithium XC 5.0 battery pack, it can complete over 600 cuts in 3-1/4in. base board and up to 300 cuts in two by four on one charge.

With more than 150 power tool products available, this new tool is fully compatible with the entire M18 line.
