SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.—Accuride has released the 3135EC, the Eclipse Undermount Easy-Close slide engineered specifically for commercial-grade applications.

Accuride says it offers robust performance that improves sensorial movement, minimizes drawer sagging, and increases soft-close reliability. The hardware manufacturer will be exhibiting at IWF 2016 in Booth 1607.

 

“This enhanced undermount slide will create a myriad of possibilities for retail, commercial, medical, and high-end residential customers,” says Claudia Tuttle, marketing manager for Accuride. “They’re engineered specifically for the toughest commercial jobs, and they are built to last so you can set them and forget them.” 

 

Model 3135EC offers improved full extension movement with a 100-pound load rating, yet slide smoothly and easily with just 4.8 pounds of pull force. A new interior Easy-Close action brings drawers to a smooth and gentle close while reducing the total envelope of the product, while fluid dampeners resist slam without adding bounce-back.

 

It can also be configured with multiple drawer-front adjustment features, enabling quick horizontal, vertical, and front-to-back adjustment. In addition, a lower spacer clip with plastic ball bearings provides additional lateral support, reducing drawer sagging, and side-to-side movement for consistent, reliable operation.
