The IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award opened the call for entries for the 2014 competition. It honors new and innovative technologies in products, services, or manufacturing techniques that will advance the woodworking industry.

The International Surface Fabricators Association and the International Woodworking Fair LLC will partner together for the 2014 IWF show in an effort to increase focus on the countertop industry.

The ISFA and IWF announced the formation of a partnership geared toward increasing focus on the countertop industry for the 2014 show. The partnership includes the development of a full countertop educational track for the show.

From 22 to 25 August 2012, the IWF supplier and machine trade fair, the most important event of its kind, took place in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This was a very special trade fair for the German system components manufacturer Vauth-Sagel, since in the anniversary year the company presented itself for the first time with its own stand under its own name.
