For my second IWF, I began the day before the show opened as a panelist on the Woodworking Inventors Symposium. The most surprising benefit to the symposium was the interaction and the back-and-forth with other shop owners.

This was my second time attending IWF, which made the overall experience much more approachable and relaxed. I went to visit select vendors to ask questions and discuss specific issues, making a large show more approachable.

IWF 2014, held at Atlanta from August 20th to 23rd, was one for the record for Biesse. More than 2,000 people visited Biesse's booths, the company says.

All indications show positive growth for IWF 2014. Registration was 10% higher, and increased in 47 of 50 states.The 920 exhibitors included over 200 new exhibiting companies at the International Woodworking Fair 2014.
