Designers, woodworkers and many more hit Las Vegas for the combined 2014 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and International Builders Show (IBS), which were held together for the first time February 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and dubbed as Design & Construction Week. In all more than 75,000 participants were on-hand.

More than three dozen closet companies were exhibiting at IBS, and dozens of hardware and cabinetry companies had their products on display at KBIS.

At KBIS 2014, Wellborn Cabinet added many more colors and finishes to reflect consumer deisgn trends, and announced it is adding more of its current paints and paints with glazes to its MDF door styles in its price-conscious Premier Series.

Blum announced the addition of two innovative products in 2014/2015: the Legrabox full extension drawer box system with the Ambia-Line drawer organization system and the Aventos HK-XS, a new addition to the Aventos lift system family.

MasterBrand Cabinets Inc.’s KBIS 2014 display – its first appearance at the show in three years – presented its Diamond, Decora, Aristokraft, Schrock, KitchenCraft and other cabinetry lines in new innovative applications and colors.

Häfele’s KBIS booth featured a variety of products including LED lighting, motorized countertops and sliding doors. Everything was illuminated from drawers, to cabinets, toe kicks and closet rods.

Rubbermaid Building Products representatives discussed their closets and garage offerings at the 2014 Builders Show in Las Vegas. They noted, in particular, the continued popularity of garage cabinetry.

ClosetMaid featured new products and product updates offering a total solution for the entire home, including the launch of ProGarage and TotalSlide.

Gladiator GarageWorks highlighted its new color additions to its signature welded cabinet design. Colors can be combined to mirror favorite teams or themes around the house.

Organized Living featured in demand organizing solutions in The New American Home at the International Builders’ Show with popular homeowner features like walk in closets, pantries and laundry rooms.

Plans are already under way to incorporate more residential construction suppliers and their trade shows in next year’s Design & Construction week, which is set for Jan. 20 - 22, 2015.
