Almanac Lists Top Kitchen Cabinet Design Trends from 2013

Kitchen cabinetry and bathroom design and remodeling consumer trends identified by Houzz and NKBA favor neutral colors, white painted cabinets, and transitional door and drawer styles. Glass backsplashes, LED lighting are on the rise.

Houzz first-ever remodeling study of over 7,500 registered uses finds a preference among homeowners for safe, neutral cabinet colors, with consumers under 35 preferring modern and transitional cabinet styles.

The 2014 Wood Industry Almanac, being published December 2013 by Wood Products magazine, will recap this and other key industry metrics including major wood market sectors, companies dominating their segments, and lists of the most important trade shows, associations, schools, technology and business trends, along other key resources such as the most popular wood and veneer species.
