Closets Reality Show Premiers: NBC Style Network's The Amandas

LOS ANGELES – Closets and home organization professionals wil be able to see themselves in the first TV series all about their field, as The Style Network premiers its docu-series, “The Amandas,” on Monday, January 30 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

click image to zoom Show star Amanda LeBlanc, who runs The Amanda's Organizing and Closets, based in Birmingham, AL with a location in New Orleans as well, is a rising figure in the home organization market.

LeBlanc will be among the highlights at Closets Expo 2012, Feb. 15-17 in Austin, TX, where she will appear as celebrity hostess for the CLOSETS Magazine Top Shelf Awards on Wednesday evening, Feb. 15, sponsored by closet hardware manufacturer Hafele.

LeBlanc will also appear and speak throughout the show, providing insights into closets design trends, and background on her TV show, The Amandas." Amanda will also appear at Peer to Peer lunch Wednesday, Feb. 15, the Hafele booth Thursday morning, Feb. 16, and at a morning coffee session Friday, Feb 17 at 8 am.

Certain to be "must viewing" for anyone in the home organization business - organizers, interior designers, and closets production professionals - "The Amandas" follows LeBlanc and her organizing team as they engage a range of client "types" certain to be familiar to anyone in the organizing business.

LeBlanc and her team, who with her team aims to "create meticulously functional living spaces with a focus on style and aesthetics," had her skills honed to a sharp edge after losing everything to Hurricane Katrina. This experience allowed LeBlanc to help her clients to let go of the past in order to create efficient and stress-free environments.

LeBlanc is a Certified Professional Organizer and a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers. with over 10 years experience organizing and five years of owning her own successful organizing firm. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in English.

LeBlanc serves on the NAPO Education Committee as task team manager as well as serving on the associate committee. Amanda is a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization, Young Leadership Council of New Orleans, and Toastmasters International.

“The Amandas” is produced by Pink Sneakers Productions. Executive producers are Kimberly Cowin and John Ehrhard, along with Sarah Weidman and Renee Simon, executive producers for Style Network. Pink Sneaker provides a run-down of The Amandas Crew, which in addition to LeBlanc includes:

Dustin Canez – Amanda’s right-hand man and personal assistant the other five women on track while managing Amanda’s work schedule.

Taylor Davis – Amanda's 19-year-old niece, who is said to have inherited the organizing family gene.

Savannah Cernosek – described by The Style Network producers as a "spunky organizer with a great sense of style," she has been known to give attitude but always endeavors to stay professional.

Rachel Vicknair – Her p professional organizer skills combined with killer looks; she was beauty pageant winner in the Ms. Louisiana State and Ms. New Orleans competitions. 

Havilah Malone – A former corporate manager now in the organization business.

Alicia Lewis – The most educated of the crew, Lewis holds three separate college degrees that  help her think out of the box and bring new ideas to organizational planning.

LeBlanc and The Amanda's are featured on the January 2012 cover of CLOSETS Magazine.
