HIGH POINT, N.C. - Celebrity cook Rachael Ray formally launched new upholstered furniture and laminate casegoods in the Rachael Ray Home Collection, being produced by Samson Marketing's Legacy Classic and Craftmaster Furniture divisions.

The 300-piece collection, designed by Ray, launched at the Spring High Point Market in April and will be available this fall featuring three product lines: Soho, Upstate and Highline. Each line has a dog bed - also in laminate.

"I started doodling in the margins of my recipe notebooks what I wish pieces of my furniture did," Ray explains on her website. She says she "wanted a nightstand that had hidden outlets for charging, a kitchen island with a built-in garbage bowl, a room divider with drawers that could open up on either side ... and now those ideas have come to life!"

Legacy Classic and Craftmaster Furniture are sister companies within Samson Marketing, with Legacy focusing on the laminate/wood production and Craftmaster on the upholstery. Craftmaster is an American manufacturer and produces its furniture at a North Carolina facility.

Craftmaster also produces the upholstery for the licensed furniture collection of another celebrity cook - Paula Deen. The casegoods of the Paula Deen Home line are manufactured by sister company Universal Furniture.
