WACO, Texas -- Home improvement stars Chip and Joanna Gaines, of HGTV's popular "Fixer Upper" series, launched a new line of residential furniture and accessories that will be manufactured by Alabama-based Standard Furniture Corp. The new line -- Magnolia Home Furnishings by Joanna Gaines -- debuted last year during the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina and will hit retail stores this month.
“This is a dream come true for me,” Joanna Gaines said when the line was announced. “I have always wanted my style to be accessible and available to those looking for new design solutions for their homes.”
The Magnolia Home line will be a wholly independent division of Standard Furniture, sharing limited operations such as warehousing and distribution, and it will showcase furniture designs by Joanna Gaines in style genres of Primitive, Industrial, Boho, French Inspired, Farm and Traditional. The collection also will include furnishings for every room of the home from living and bedroom areas to kitchen and bath. Magnolia Home will also include a full line of decorative accessories in her signature style to coordinate with her furniture collections.
The HGTV hosts also own and operate Magnolia Homes, a construction and remodeling company, and the retail store Magnolia Market located in Waco, Texas. The entreprenurial couple is also planning to open up a local bed and breakfast, the Magnolia House, in the spring of 2016.
Standard Furniture was founded in 194, and it designs, manufactures and distributes bedroom, dining, occasional, and youth groups to retailers, department stores, distributors and furniture leasing chains throughout the United States. It is headquartered in Bay Minette, Alabama and has additional manufacturing facilities in Frisco City, Alabama and overseas.
