CRANSTON, R.I. - Residential furniture manufacturer and designer Ethan Allen opened a 6,000-square-foot design center in Cranston, Rhode Island.
In a continuation of its retail strategy, the new center is showcases interactive design services, featuring a number of displays that bring its web site to life with its user friendly features including touchscreen and advanced technology.
"This is an Ethan Allen some people may not recognize," said Farooq Kathwari, Ethan Allen Chairman, President and CEO. "The products are relaxed and relevant to today's lifestyles, the technology on the floor is state-of-the-art, and the Design Center itself is located where our clients live and play."
An open floor plan featuring design stations and six large touchscreens invites customers to work directly on projects with the company’s design professionals in a space outfitted with the latest technology.
The Design Center displays hundreds of all-new designs in “shops” and inspirational room settings. Four design professionals will staff the new space and can help as little or as much as a client likes to facilitate the creative process and take the guesswork out of design. In-store and in-home consultations are complimentary, as always.
"Our new Design Center will make for a more exciting shopping experience,” says Amy Franks, vice president of Ethan Allen’s Northeast region. “It’s going to appeal to our loyal clients as well as new customers who have never considered us before.”
Ethan Allen opened the similarly styled location in Elkridge, Maryland in March.
