LANCASTER, Pa. - Show planners expect a crowded floor as they rearrange the plans to squeeze in two more booths from the waiting list for the Wood Pro Expo Lancaster woodworking show.

Show and conference registrations are both at record levels for the regional event. A month before opening, Wood Pro Expo Lancaster had sold all its exhibit space. Show planners set-up a waiting list, as additional regional wood industry suppliers hoped to squeeze into the October 19 - 20 expo in Pennsylvania.

"It's a spectacular kick-off for the Lancaster show," says Tim Fixmer, CEO of Woodworking Network, the producers of the show. "We worked through the floor plan and managed to make a little more exhibit space available."

The Wood Pro Expo will be held October 19 - 20 at the Lancaster Host Expo and Conference Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Show floor registration is $20. A woodworking educational series of eight sessions are scheduled, covering business management and wood fabrication topics, including finishing and lean management. Individual sessions cost $45, and a two-day package provides admission to three sessions for $75.

"We stil have some room for attendees at the educational program," says Carroll Henning, marketing manager for Wood Pro Expo. "We have eight sessions over the two days covering everything from lean management to finishing to panel fabrication." All show registrants receive free admission to daily keynote sessions, kicking off October 19 with the opening keynote by FDMC magazine editor Will Sampson.

The Wood Pro Expo exhibitor list now includes 45 companies, with additions posted online as planners found a way to expand the floor.
