CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the first time, the Overall Winner of the 2017 Top Shelf Closet Design Awards will receive a $500 cash prize. The contest, which takes place annually, aims to highlight the work of top designers in the closet and home storage and organization industry.

"Each year we see incredible work from designers across the country and Canada," said Closets Editor Michaelle Bradford. "This year we wanted to take the annual design contest a step further by giving the Overall Winner a cash prize. It's our way to emphasize to the community how much we honor the amazing designs that we are seeing."

All category award winners will be featured in Closets magazine and celebrated at a gala awards reception during the 2017 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, April 11- 13 in Schaumburg, Illinois (near Chicago).
