SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A "record crowd" of woodworkers in Nevada and California were in attendance last week at an open house hosted by Vision Machinery, a dealer of Biesse Group technology and systems.

“This event was about double compared to what we did at the end-of-year open house last year in terms of attendance,” said Vision Machinery Founder & Owner Lonnie Campbell. He added that feedback on the company's manufacturer-level showroom "was fantastic."

Highlights of the event included demonstrations of Biesse's Akron 1330 AFS edgebander and Rover S NBC CNC router. “We got a lot of interest," Campbell said. "That’s what the demand of the market is, and with the NBC in particular, there are a lot of customers who are upgrading from traditional stand-alone nest-based routers to the feedthrough cell because you get so much more productivity.”

Biesse credited the large attendance at the open house to the dealership's success. "We put a tremendous amount of faith in our dealers to be the eyes and ears of Biesse Group in the marketplace,” said Randy Jamison, Biesse Group vice president Primary Accounts/Selco brand manager, who attended the event. “Our continued success is due in no small part to having dealers like Lonnie and Vision Machinery that are second to none.”
