KREFELD, GERMANY – Siempelkamp says its 8th-generation ContiRoll for particleboard and MDF panel production continues to  rack up sales.

Interim review for the third quarter in 2015: Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH has recorded encouraging sales successes for its innovative ContiRoll concept designed specifically to meet requirements in the wood processing industry. The Krefeld-based specialist has been able to position itself in international markets during the first nine months of the year with orders for 12 facilities for MDF and particleboard production. A great success – particularly for the 8th-generation ContiRoll.

By the time the 2015 LIGNA trade fair opened its doors, Siempelkamp had already received four orders for production facilities for the wood-processing industry: besides a particleboard production plant ordered by a China-based customer, the Thailand-based Wisewood Green Panel ordered the latest version of an 8' x 25.5 m MDF plant with 8th-generation ContiRoll.

Russisch Laminat, which operates from Ivorevska in Russia and is also a customer of long-standing, ordered a further MDF production plant. The latter forming and press line includes an 8th-generation ContiRoll with pressure distribution plates and is sized 9' x 50.4 m; it is to be delivered before the end of the year. Siempelkamp has also received an order for an OSB production plant from a customer operating in eastern Asia. These interim results stand for many sales successes that had already demonstrated the international interest in concen-trated Siempelkamp competence by the time the LIGNA 2015 opened its doors.

The winning streak continues: as recently as a few weeks ago, Yildiz Entegre Agac Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. Kocaeli, another long-standing Siempelkamp customer, placed orders for two new MDF/HDF production lines for its plants in Russia and Romania.

Six other wood-processing manufacturers have also plumbed for the quality and innovative strength that is Siempelkamp's speciality. Customers based in eastern Europe have ordered two particle-board production plants while another customer in Asia has also placed an order for an 8' x 23.5 m MDF production plant with ContiRoll.

VRG Dong Wha Vietnam, which is also a regular Siempelkamp customer, already placed an order for an MDF concept with an 8' x 25.5 m plant and 8th-generation ContiRoll system in August.

Siempelkamp has also been able to record further positive news in the particle-board industry.

One 7‘ x 33.8 m plant with 8th-generation ContiRoll is to be delivered to Kronospan to re-place one of the last 13-daylight Becker & Van Hüllen presses with Schenck/Flexoplan form-ing and loader systems that remain in operation there.

Siempelkamp is also currently installing an additional 6‘ x 32.1 particleboard production plant with ContiRoll and pressure-distribution technology for PG Bison, another long-standing customer, which is based in South Africa.

These 12 orders that have been placed with Siempelkamp stand for the trust that interna-tional customers are placing in its engineering: “Our customers are setting benchmarks in their markets. All over the world, Siempelkamp is regarded as the partner to support plant operators through the provision of individual, innovative and intelligent plant concepts. The last order we received represents a compliment that confirms that we are hitting the mark with our technology,” said Dr.-Ing. Hans Fechner, Spokesperson for the Management at G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG.
