JELD-WEN To Sponsor Dream Home 2016 on HGTV
CHARLOTTE, NC- Window and door manufacturer Jeld-WEN has signed on as a major sponsor of an upcoming giveaway of a custom renovated home in Merritt Island, Florida, on HGTV's Dream Home Giveaway show.

This is the 20th anniversary of the show, and Jeld-Wen-WEN will be a major sponsor, following a path increasingly well trod by window, door, furniture and cabinet manufacturers.

Wellborn Cabinets, for example, sponsored the Dream Home show for several years. And this year, American Woodmark's Waypoint Living Spaces  cabinet division is being featured on Home Free, a reality TV series starring contractor personality Mike Holmes. Ethan Allen Furniture is also a regular sponsor on reality home design shows.

In the Dream Home show sponsored by Jeld-Wen, every year an industry leading designer, contractor and architect join together to build or - this year for the first time - renovate an eye-popping home for a lucky winner. The remodeling hook made the sponsorship a good fit for Jeld-Wen.

The benefits of such shows are easy to see for the cabinet, furniture and fenestration sponsors: Last year, HGTV received more than 94 million entries in the contest for the HGTV Dream Home, outfitted with the leading home improvement brands and  products. The winner received a new Cape Cod house in Martha's Vinyard sponsored by Ethan Allen Furniture, Cabinets to God, and Lumber Liquidators.

Jeld-Wen will provide all windows and interior and exterior doors for the 2016 Dream Home Giveaway, but doesn't yet know what that will entail - the home has been selected, but the renovation design hasn't been done. The home  measures around 3,100 square feet.

"We are excited to be a part of this renovation and we can't wait to see what this year's designers come up with,"
said Jim Parello, VP Marketing for Jeld-Wen-WEN.
